Bigger doesn’t always mean better. And this was definitely the case with Cincy Second Friday RED HOT Swing. The dance was very intimate, with only a handful of dancers to sprinkle the dance floor.
While the combination of the weather and other nearby events kept the gathering at Step-N-Out Studio small, it was by no means boring. We rocked the dance floor with some of the greatest tunes known to man and some of the niftiest dance moves around.
This dance gave me a chance to talk to people who I normally wouldn’t have talked to, namely the females of the bunch. As a follow, I don’t usually get a chance to socialize with many women at dances. So, I got to meet a few of the female dancers here in Cincinnati and made a few new friends in the process.
So, just because a dance is small, doesn’t mean it’s not going to be fun. Half the fun of dancing is meeting new people and making new friends.
In the immortal words of Porky the Pig, “That’s all, folks.” Keep an eye out, there will be a lot of posts in the next few days to cover all of the events that took place this weekend.
